Gents-

Finally have the time to start reloading. Been working on the bench for a few days and happy with how it came out. About to get out the equipment and realize that my dumb arse don’t have any powder.....Any chance anyone has a pound of H1000 they could part with? I’m willing to pay extra for the inconvenience. Willing to trade ammo or once fired brass as well.
This unprepared Jarhead thanks you 🇺🇸👍

Damn, that looks like a nice set up. Reminds me I should get off my ass and get my bench put back together. I'd offer to send you some H1000 but it's a huge pain to send powder across the border.

Have a fire extinguisher nearby.

Store powder far enough from the bench to keep yourself from having two powders out at the same time.

Bench looks great, certainly puts mine to shame!

Any suggestions on layout? Do's dont's?

I don't think you'll need that bench mounted vise for reloading (just being a smart ass) but otherwise it's really going to depend on how your reloading process fits you best. I like to process brass and reload from left to right across my bench so I lay out my storage in that way.

*EDIT

You should expect to change your organization layout a few times as you use your new space. I found myself moving things around quite a bit until I realized that things were where they needed to be when I reached for them. It's part of the fun.

Great looking spread... I’d add a beer fridge, radio, and buy a Little Crow Gunworks WFT2 if you shoot any 223.

Good luck on the powder. You may know this, but Hodgson has some great reference info online to see what other options you have for whatever cartridges you’ll be loading. You might have better luck finding a substitute for H1000 depending on the load.

haha! Yeah the vise was there before I repurposed the bench, figured I’ll have most equipment at other end.
Good call on moving things around, it’s happening already and I haven’t pressed a single round yet....

👍👍 Rest assured-the beer fridge is to the right of the vise-and I just went from stereo to surround sound in the barn....overkill-absolutely!! But why not right?!

Thanks for the link-I was not aware, this is all brand new to me as far as reloading. I am starting to question the whole “cheaper to reload” thing....holy hell this equipment adds up fast!

NO SUCH THING AS OVERKILL ! Reloading for most is not cheaper despite what people say. It does allow you to shoot more and shoot more accurately though.
