Belt that supports holster and is low profile

I have been going through some of the belt threads but I am specifically looking for a belt with no stretch to hold a holster. My go to belt is an EB Genius that I love. The issue is that it has too much stretch for supporting a holster and holding it in place while drawing the pistol. I also see some heavy duty belts that are stiffer for holding a holster but I am concerned that they will get to bulky over the buckle. Looking for suggestions.

This belt works well for me for IWB.

I dig the g hook version. I use it alone or with a sub second battle belt.

Nexbelt supreme is pretty awesome. Very stiff belt with ratchet system. The buckle is low profile and does not get in the way when I appendix carry.

For hunting use or for CCW/edc?

For CCW/edc I am loving the Tenicor zero. Pairs well with the Tenicor Certum Lux and G19 carried at about 4:30-5 o clock.

OWB carry, Wilderness 5 stitch.

I've been looking for the perfect belt for a while. Too stiff and it'll be uncomfortable under the pack belt. Too thin and the holster sags. The best I've found so far is this one, but there might be better options out there.

Shoot me a text, Joe. If interested, my wife could make you a custom belt out of you’re desired material, thickness, etc.

I’m a bit old school but the leather belts she makes are what I am partial to.

I’ve had belts from
C5 Leather - I think that’s the company. Great leather belt, but as I switched to appendix carry it was too much

Ares Gear - Aegis stiffened nylon belt. You could hang 10 lbs off the thing and it still wouldn’t roll over. Extremely solid belt but with appendix the buckle got in the way.

Blue Alpha Gear - Low Pro also a great option but I didn’t like dealing with the Velcro and again with appendix I had to typically have it off center to not interfere with my holster.

Tennicor Zero - been using one since they came out and it’s my favorite belt for appendix carry and everyday use. It’s not as stiff as the ares gear Aegis but it still does the job.

Thinking about this makes me want to find my ares gear belt again.

The gun and holster details may help guide the advice as well.

But since you said for hunting, I’m assuming open carry, and some kind of kydex or similar holster.

That would push me away from the tenicor zero. It’s a thinner material that is great when you carry iwb, because it relies on the tension more so than the belts own rigidity.

For a holster outside the belt, I think a little stiffness helps. Any of the Wilderness belts that have the “5-stitch” option are great. Just a really great balance of stability without being super bulky or uncomfortably stiff.
Most of them also taper down to a thinner nylon where it loops through the buckle, so that area isn’t super bulky.

This is what I use for EDC. I use a Sitka belt when hunting. The Nextbelt can be uncomfortable under a pack waist belt. I prefer some sort of webbing belt in that scenario.
Their new thin bar model looks good.
I want to try it to see how much improvement over the original square buckle as that can dig in when sitting in vehicle, or pack as you mentioned.

One of the other issues is having to take the belt off at TSA as it won’t pass through the metal detector. But that’s pretty minor. Otherwise I love these belts
