Would like to buy a crossbow for $300 or less for my wife and kids in the future. Something decent that they could shoot with out to 60. Never owned a crossbow so send me an offer and I'll get back to you. Bolts/broadheads and decent scope are obvious perks.

I bought my son a Centerpoint crossbow a couple years ago, and have had good luck with it. I think it was about $270, came with a scope, quiver and 4 bolts. Shoots 370fps. I did upgrade the scope, but the one that comes with it is would be fine for starting out. There are several options out there within you price range. Personally, I would rather buy new than deal with someone else's used equipment, never know what they are covering up.

Got one that I would cut you a deal on in Wichita. It's a Horton Recurve but it likely won't shoot 60. Plenty of bolts with it. Does have a scope.

You can get a new one for under $250 on sale.
I have shot my sons' at 80yds consistent on the range and it's lights out perfect.
The only downside to the bow is the sloppy trigger...

Thanks for the advice. I’ll take a look at that!
