Looks real cool. I tried the bao Feng radios this last season but didn't get much better range then regular 2 ways. I guess I don't understand how it works and that Web link doesn't really explain it. Also it doesn't mention anything about price but allows you to reserve one?

I've seen this before, it essentially turns your phone into a two way radio from what I understand. It would be lighter than carrying a separate two way but you'll end up having to carry extra battery charging abilities because phones are not as efficient as a dedicated two ways.
