Bears and Tasers.

I was at the library yesterday and one of the librarians asked me if a taser could be used on a bear.
I have not heard of that. Has anyone????????

As long as the darts make good contact (hide might be an issue)

My thoughts exactly. The purpose is to create a flight not a fight reaction. I'll stick to a bear banger/.45ACP and bear spray.

Notice how fast that bull recovered when the volts stopped??? And what it did afterwards?? I'd say if you want to get yourself killed, try that on an Alaskan brown bear or a grizzled.

I've watched enough episodes of cops to see a few angry, fat men on PCP take a tazer or two and keep coming.

I've never been attacked by a bear but I don't think I want to rely on a tazer to save me.
