Bear Literature & Books?

What are some good books for learning about bears as far as hunting and ecology? Not looking for hunting stories per say but hunting tactics and stuff like that.

I’d like to get into bear hunting pretty serious in the next year or two. I have been eating on my first black bear and dang it is some good stuff!!

Ultimate guide to black bear hunting by Douglas boze. Tracking the American black bear by Preston Taylor. Although you (and I) might not be a tracker, There’s a lot of good info on bear habits and whatnot in Preston’s book.

Both great recommendations. Douglas Boze is a member here on Rokslide, saylean is what he uses here I believe.
