Damn - that's one tough lady, and her little dog is a fighter too. Prayers for both to have as speedy and full a recovery as possible.

They grow huge black bear in that area. Hope they get that bear out of there.

This one of those thing I wonder if we'll ever really know what happened. Last story I heard was the dog ran after a sow with cubs and the women tried to save the dog from the bear.

I do know people need to stop feeding Bears like they're Squirrels and Pidgeons.
