I have found myself biting my tongue more than once based on how proud some people are of their used gear. I guess I can't begrudge someone for seeing what that can get. I have made the mistake of posting something on Craigslist too low. You know you screwed up when you get a phone call per minute until you take it down.

No its really not, you just move right along. These are not normal times and im afraid this is just the start.

The crazy prices are being paid elsewhere. Im guilty, I recently acquired a 45-70 and I paid 3x the normal price for ammo. It was that or simply own a boat anchor.

devils advocate , if people can go into a thread and say "good price, someone pick this up" don't they have equal freedom to go into a thread and say "bad price, look elsewhere"

i don't really care one way or the other, just looking from the other side. hate seeing way overpriced stuff on the classifieds, but usually just assume they will realize they asking too much when its 2 pages of "bump" posts. I think compared to other sites, usually roksliders prices are as good as it gets, usually priced to move.

Mine was my wife's Ford Escort. I thought it was such a piece of crap that I would be ripping someone off asking $1000 for it. It sold within minutes and I had to take it down so my phone would stop ringing.
