I received my Banish in the mail on Saturday from Silencer Central. With the adaptor, weighed 9.1 oz. Rifle weight is 8 pounds 6 oz with suppressor.
(Tikka T3 at 19", vertical grip, cheek piece, sportsmatch rings, Zeiss 4-16x44)
As far as sound suppression, I don't have anything really to compare to, but I shot 4-5 shots with no ear protection and there is far less sound and concussion than with no suppressor - very manageable. With ear protection on, it reminds you of shooting a .22 - very very quiet. Sounds weird but instead of a loud boom, comes off like a whip cracking. Again, this on a 22 Creedmoor shooting 77 grain bullets at about 3150 FPS. I was/am very pleased for my first real suppressor experience.
As far as the rifle goes, I upped my load to 38 grains of H4350 with the 77gr TMK. That load produced an average of 3160-3170 FPS. And as you can see in the pic, put 10 shots in a nice little cluster. Think I am done tinkering and just going to run this load. Still need to take the gong out and verify it to 4,5,600 yard distances, but right now it shows lots of promise. My main concern is having a close shot on a big buck or antelope (less than 100 yards) at that muzzle velocity - but if thats the case, hopefully I can find lungs and not a shoulder to blow up.
