Bartlein or benchmark cfw barrel

I went Bartlein #14 m24/m30. I was told Benchmark's were heavier but I can't confirm. Availability may be your deciding factor. I've been talked out of CFW barrels by builders in the past b/c of little benefit, more prone to inconsistency and cost. This time, I'm trying to save a few oz and have an 18" barrel w/a suppressor. It may be a bit of a waste of $ but opted to try carbon this time. Same, hunting not bench shooting.
Do you have the barrel yet? Do you know the actual weight of it? Im looking at building a 18-20" 6 creed, the only thing I can find in stock right now is an 18" m24 bartlein CF and a proof sendero 18". Not sure if the 18" m24 carbon will be too heavy, or heavier than a #4 fluted.

I'd go steel. Hunter contoured like a number three with lots of flutes. Cut a ton of weight and it'll still shoot amazing.
I've got a benchmark on my 6 UM and it'll shoot 10 in under an inch.

I am starting a 7PRC rifle project. Already a defiance anti action. Going to be a XLR chassis. I'm trying g to decide on barrel. 20 in long and will have a dead air nomad ti suppressor on it. I'm trying to decide between a Bartlein or Benchmark CFW barrel. Any input on reliability and pros and cons would be great. This is a hunting rifle. I do spend time at range but looking for right compromise between weight and consistency in accuracy. weight and consistency
For me, I would recommend the Benchmark CFW in their MTU contour in that shorter length or the Bartlien CFW in their #14 contour. I’m using one on my 300 win mag at 26”

You will not tell the difference in accuracy, none of us could. I have had a few of each and both shot lights out. Benchmarks and bartlein are both extremely reputable, accurate, top tier barrel makers. With both being super accurate, I personally lean towards bartlein, love the look of their carbon, absolutely hate the “organized” look benchmark does with their carbon.

I have a few m24 carbons from bartlein, as I prefer the looks of their #14 contour, a 24” on my 22 creed, and an 18” on my 6 creed, both are stupid accurate.

My 18” m24 contour was 3lbs on the dot, not chambered or threaded.
