I imagine you could just confirm the size needed and order some online. Murphy Precision might also sell you a set.

Thanks for reaching out, but im actually looking for factory flat head screws not for attaching a base, but for filling one of the top screw holes that aren’t being used.

You should just be able to order those online. Confirm the thread size and order the set screws. I previously ordered some for my fieldcraft online.

I understand, just like to keep everything as factory as possible.

I did reach out and was told they don’t have anything now, but they may when the Fieldcraft comes back to market in the next year or two.
Anyway thanks for reaching out , but still looking.

The factory didn’t build the filler screws I assure you. Shouldn’t be hard to find. Here’s a pile of them:

I understand, just looking for the exact screw that was used on a FC.
I keep my FC all original, some guys have no problem cutting them down or painting them, for me I would never do that.
I understand what you sent would work, but its not original.
Thanks for reaching out though, I do appreciate those that have taken time to help.

Willing to trade a one piece Talley FC base for one original stainless screw. L or S action you choose.

Me either!
No in all seriousness I had the gunsmith cut a tiny groove in the bottom of the ring to clear that little plug screw.I wanted to keep it as well.

LOL, to me its like chopping and painting a Model 70 pre 64 …
Everyone is different, but if they never come back to production the value will continue to rise unlike a modified rifle.
I understand its a hunting rifle, but I’ve never needed any modifications done to them to kill deer.
