Barrett fieldcraft suppressor barrel mod

Would it be possible to tread the barrel on the above to add a can or would it be risky?

Send it to someone reputable, it'll be fine. Or buy my 18" threaded one.

Almost any barrel can be threaded with the Q/Sig tapered shoulder, I have no clue why the hunting industry hasn't picked up on this. Its super easy for your gunsmith, and if you're not running a Q/Sig mount, (and lest be honest, who is?) all you need is a $15 part to make it into standard 90* shoulder.
