As the title says,
We rebaited Saturday morning. Left to go to an archery shoot came back to sit the night and someone in that amount of time set their barrel up within 100 yards of ours.
Now you can’t see our barrel from theirs due to the amount of timber. So I’m unsure if this was intentional or not.
We sit out truck in this turnout so if you drive up the canyon you pass our truck. I’m fully aware that it’s public land. I get it. But there is a sense of ethics and morals that come to place.
I’m guessing it’s a hounds man’s barrel due to the lack of “decorating” as I call it.
My guess, they seen where the truck was and decided to blindly set their new barrel in there trying to pull a bear in with less amount of time.
Here’s the kicker, their barrel is in fact illegal due to the distance from a maintained trail by 50 yards. Ours is 75 over the minimum.
What would you do in this situation?
