Barrel Contour / Stock Options

Hi - Maybe a dumb question but can someone enlightenment me on barrel contours when looking at after market stock options. I have a T3X Superlite/fluted stock rifle and looking at stock upgrades. If I want want to keep the factory barrel for now but have the option of upgrading later to a Proof, etc. is there a an option to choose a stock barrell contour that enables me to upgrade later, or would I have to simply get a new stock or modify it?

I.e. if i get the stock for the Proof sendero profile, can I still use it for my stock superlite barrel but have the options to switch later? Is there any inter changeability here or do i need to get an exact profile match and be one and done.

Side note, it’s a lefty rifle so I have to find Left hand stock options. Does anyone know if AG Composites still does left hand? I don’t see them listed anymore.

There is no downside to having a larger barrel channel than necessary. Order for the largest barrel you may install in future.

Agreed. No need for an exact match unless you demand it for aesthetic purposes. More float=more betterer.
