My .06 has one on it and I certainly enjoy carrying it!

I guess I should add that stock in its own is 23 oz with pillar bedding. That rifle is 5lb 12oz as shown. My lightest M70 was a stainless 300 WSM with same 3.5-10 VX-3 and that was 7lb 4oz.
Did you do the paint on that stock? If so what was the process you went through?

The picture of mine in post #18 isn't a spectacularly eye-catching paint job, but I wanted something easy to re-do that I didn't care if it got scratched up and beat up.

I sanded the stock, sprayed it with 3 coats of Hunter Specialties green camo paint. Then spray can clear coat over top made the finish durable.

I wonder if I contacted them, they would consider making one for a Savage action. Guess the worst they could say was no.
the website says they'll be releasing more models for different actions through the year, so i think asking is not a bad idea... at least you will probably get some answers. i had never heard of them, but looks like a pretty nice stock they make, and very light

I sent an email about a second stock for my M98, no response. I am disappointed in that. Seems they answer what is able to be sold, based on my experience and based on the above post. It only takes a literal few seconds to say "We don't have that available and don't plan/ plan to add that to our offerings as we get re-tooled" or whatever they are doing for the future.

Just ordered one today and mark told me lead time was around 3 weeks, going on a m 70 in 300 win mag this will be my hunt the world gun so I’m excited to start on it when it comes.

Anyone got their hands on the latest bansner stocks? Wondering how much finish work is needed for the inlet.

I have a extreme weather barreled action needing a stock.

I just received another one. The edges and seams are a little rough and I’ll sand those down when I do paint prep. The recoil pad came blended to the stock, so that doesn’t have to be done. I had to take a file and relieve a tiny spot to clear the pin that holds the bolt release. Barrel sits perfectly in the channel. The extreme weather OEM is a log compared to the Bansner.

I’m ordering a Bansner M70 today for a Classic .30-06 and am going to paint it myself as well so this is good to know. The new stock should save me 7-9oz total
