Anybody know an easier way to clean these bastards than wire brush and solvent? This is becoming a chore šŸ˜‚

On my banish 30 I use Clr In my harbor freight ultra sonic cleaner. Works great.

I use CLR on the baffles only, in a mason jar, it only takes a couple hours.

Iā€™ e been careful not to get the CLR on the powder coating, not sure how that would work out.

Yes definitely only clr on the baffles. Don't put Clr on the outside housing.

Thanks guys! I tried soaking one of them for a couple of hours and that really helped. Gonna run to harbor freight tomorrow and check out the ultrasonic cleaner.

Itā€™s not bad. I didnā€™t soak the outside in CLR for long but Iā€™ve had it sitting on the power coating for about an hour and it never came off.

Mines sealed shut from carbon so I just plug one end and poor CLR in it for a few hours before shaking it out and rinsing.

How long do you leave it in the sonic cleaner?
I only dump about a cup of clr and the rest water. I run it for a hour and then let it soak for a couple hours. Turn back on for a few minutes and they should be pretty clean.

You don't worry about the stainless steel threads?

The banish 30 is all titanium. I ONLY PUT THE BAFFLES IN CLR and they are titanium

The threads on the barrel and are not titanium. Sorry I had you confused with the guy who said he fills it with CLR.

What do you do to keep the CLR off the stainless steel thread insert?

Nothing. I soaked that puppy haha. I didnā€™t fill it to where it was soaking the threads though. I havenā€™t noticed any issues with it.

The cans still carbon welded shut and permanently 9 inches.

Yeah mine is permenently welded at 7ā€. I wish Iā€™d never bought that thing.

Breakthrough suppressor cleaner. Give it 20 minutes if its not heavily built up and it will wipe right off with a cloth. If its heavily built up give it up to 24 hours and once again will wipe clean with a cloth. I haven't had to scrub a single one of my serviceable suppressors since starting to use this stuff.
