That’s the way to do it.CLR soak for a few days
It turns to mush that can be washed off with hot water like ketchup off a plate
Yes definitely only clr on the baffles. Don't put Clr on the outside housing.I use CLR on the baffles only, in a mason jar, it only takes a couple hours.
I’ e been careful not to get the CLR on the powder coating, not sure how that would work out.
It’s not bad. I didn’t soak the outside in CLR for long but I’ve had it sitting on the power coating for about an hour and it never came off.I use CLR on the baffles only, in a mason jar, it only takes a couple hours.

How long do you leave it in the sonic cleaner? On my banish 30 I use Clr In my harbor freight ultra sonic cleaner. Works great.

I only dump about a cup of clr and the rest water. I run it for a hour and then let it soak for a couple hours. Turn back on for a few minutes and they should be pretty clean. How long do you leave it in the sonic cleaner?
You don't worry about the stainless steel threads?I only dump about a cup of clr and the rest water. I run it for a hour and then let it soak for a couple hours. Turn back on for a few minutes and they should be pretty clean.
