Badlands packs

Has anyone used the Badlands Sacrifice pack? Looking for a day pack.

I swore off Badzippers(some people call them Badlands), years ago.

My son and I both have the superday pack for day hunts here in Michigan. Really like em. Never had a problem with zippers. We do have several year old versions, as I actually like em better than the newer ones.

I have run a Superday pack and a Monster fanny pack . No complaints.

The superday and 2200 are great packs. But the comments on zippers is true. I've had several zippers break or the pull piece fall off. The way the zippers are designed, and other brands, it's common on lots of gear, as you use the zipper, it separates the piece that holds the pull tab. If you call badlands, they will replace them free of charge. If you carry 550 cord with you, it's an easy fix on the field.

They make great day packs.

I have a Badlands Clutch that I retired for a kifaru and have tried out my brothers Badlands Diablo day pack. His works great for day pack and I have taken the clutch on 4-5 day backpack fishing trips. The material makes them pretty heavy for not being a full frame pack. The mesh back away from your back is great for hiking around and getting airflow. I don't like how to aluminum stays are in the clutch pack, they are just in a sleeve and velcroed shut at the top. Under heavy, long hikes those stays pop out of their sleeve. This might have changed since that design, and would be fine under light day pack use.

I had a couple badlands packs early on. I would personally never use one again. They “worked” at the time but were never actually comfortable, only useable. Packing elk quarters in one was horrendous.

Went to an EXO from there and it was like a light switch went on.

Have since moved to Kifaru, and now own five of their packs. The EXO was nice, but Kifaru is on another level.

I've had many badlands packs. The Superday has always been my go to pack. It just fit all my needs better than the rest. Lifetime warranty makes the pack that much more of a winner. I sold all the other packs. I have 2 superdays that I use.
