I have never used a meat shelf in a pack before. I was thinking about buying the badlands super day pack.
Are they any good? I heard they are lifetime warranty.

I have the new MRK6 for sale if you’re interested in a badlands meat hauler. There’s a review on youtube that shows how well it compresses down.

I just bought a mystery ranch from this site. I think I like the idea of having a meat shelf.

I have one that's basically new. Probably only used it a few days. It's just sitting in the attic if you're interested.

You didn't state what you're intent is, but they would allow you to get the backstraps and tenderloins out without issue on an elk. The pack one step up, the badlands 2200 will give you true hauling ability and they can be had for 100 bucks at certain times of the year or slightly higher.

I want to clarify, "true hauling" means you can get a quarter out non issue.

Sorry, I got drawn for mule deer and also was lucky to draw an Elk tag. Scott
