Badlands 2200

Used Badlands 2200 pack for sale. Great day pack that allows you to bring gear for a day in the mountains and then pack out an elk quarter or half a deer on your trip out. These packs are not the best load haulers, but for that first load out of the hills they work well. Very well thought out design. Also, the pack carries a full lifetime warranty: From Badlands: "We don't care what happened, or whose fault it was, we will fix it for free forever. We could care less if you bought it at a garage sale or a gear swap, as long as it says Badlands, it's covered." Which is good, because the pack has a broken side pocket zipper (shown in photo). A couple of the zipper pulls are also broken, but replaced with p-cord, which I like better anyway. Send it back to Badlands and you'll get a pack that is good as new! Price is $125 tyd.

Does this have the rifle pouch?

Yes the 2200 comes standard with rifle/bow pouch.

The first 2200 I owned did not have the rifle pouch. It was added later, and that's why I was asking.

Yep, rifle pouch located on the inside of the right side "wing". Works well, and because the design keeps the butt of the stock above the bottom of the pack, in a pinch you can even have the rifle on the pack while riding a horse (I did that once for about 10 miles when my buddy forgot to bring an extra scabbard.)

Can you send or post of pic of what you're talking about? On my other 2200 the rifle pouch unzips from the center bottom of the pack and buckles into the bedroll (I think.) I'll need to pull my other one out tomorrow to remember exactly.

My 2200 had a pouch that you pull out from the bottom of the pack like this one.

Yeah, I think that mine is an earlier generation of the 2200 (circa 2008).
