How small can the waist belt go?

I'm not sure exactly waist size but it is highly adjustable. It's pretty small when fully tightened and can expand a ton. Hope these pics and measurements help.

Thanks, unfortunately still too big for my kids.

No worries. I was going to ask if it was for a child because the waist belt may fit but the height of the backpack straps will be too tall as the pack is a large I believe.

In essence it would sinch to the waist but the pack would be too tall for their torso. that would make it highly uncomfortable for use in my opinion. I would say this will only fit a teen or adult correctly.
