Badass Tikka Builds

Here's my 7PRC built off of a Tikka action with a Rokstok. 20" Bartlein barrel. Built buy Unknown Munitions. I have several Tikkas, but this one is by far my favorite.

I'm contemplating a 7PRC Tikka assembly project right now.

Was going to use a heavier stock such as the Boyds pro varmint with adjustable comb or KRG Echo with weight added. I know it's subjective, but how's the recoil on that rig for extended shooting sessions?

How much elevation do you have remaining on the NX8 when mounted in UM rings?

Did you have UM throat it for OEM magazine COAL?

Recoil is very manageable. I'm used to shooting a 300WM and the 7PRC is a fair amount less recoil. I still haven't stretched it out but there's tons of elevation left in the scope. I'm sure I could easily dial well beyond 1000 yards. And yes, UM throated it for OEM coal.

Very nice build. What do you think of the stock? I’m considering one for next season but I’m unsure what it would be like firing from standing or seated.
Personally I prefer the performance of the negative comb in all shooting situations. One issue to consider is a steep up hill shot laying prone flat can be difficult to get into the scope but you probably should just be shooting seated anyways. The price point is fair considering the craftsmanship and quality. The one above was apart of a pre-order they did and once I received it I quickly ordered another for my 223. I have yet to shoot an animal with it but, with all the field shooting Ive done, Ive been very impressed. The setup above is right at 9.5 lbs and with the braked suppressor and cartridge combo spotting shots is possible standing with a bagged front rest (similar to the photo above) at 350 yds
