I made the switch from Kifaru to SG last season. Nothing but good things to say about either brand to be honest.

The SG just fits my back better and is overall a bit lighter weight.
This right here. We are honestly spoiled with options. I remember my first pack. A badlands from the close out bin. Was just a day pack. I helped pack my spike and my friends cow out with it. Leg sticking out the top and the whole pack swinging around on every step.

We have several amazing options now. Just find the one that fits you best and it’s amazing how good they all are. Kifaru, EXO, SG…… all incredible.

You’ll find bad experiences from all the big pack manufacturers, and those are the significant minority.

Use your pack, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

I've used mystery ranch and now have kifaru. If you overload either, buckles, etc. will snap. If it's sewn, you might have human error. I know guys who absolutely love stone glacier packs. I just prefer my gnargali and tac frame

You couldn't have said it better. After doing a ton of research I've found that nowadays there really isn't a bad option. It just depends which one you like better for you or for the accessories you plan to bring along. I have not loaded my stone glacier with more than 30 pounds for about an hour. It was extremely comfortable. I also like that I can daisy chain a few of their pouches inside to keep very thing organized. I think it could have benefited from at least 2 small pockets but it's not a big deal. Less zippers cut weight and leave less room for things to go wrong. I cannot say anything about kifaru or EXO but I'm happy with the stone glacier.

I did have a bad experience with a different issue with kifaru and it honestly left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. As far as the stone glacier guys and gals, I've never been treated better when I've called. I mentioned in a separate comment that they made a mistake in the size of my pants and I couldn't get the guy to stop apologizing lol it wasn't a big deal at all. Great people. Their clothes are also my favorite to wear now. They are extremely comfortable and well made and I can wear them in my every day life. I can't say enough good things about SG.

Bought my SG Sky Talus 6900 back in 2016 and still using it today with no issues. Solid Pack have just about all their layers plus 2p tent. The brand I trust.

I have a SG t-shirt that shrunk in the wash. My Kifaru shirt still fits. :)

I was on a hunt with my bro and he was running a SG. he broke a piece of the frame when he sat back hard onto the ground with a full pack. SG overnighted him the part to the nearest post office at no charge. My brother was happy to pay bc of how it happened. Pretty awesome.

I have a couple Kifaru packs and have ripped parts of them too. Nothing is indestructible.
I’ll be running a SG this year to drop a couple pounds and limit the strapy-ness.

I had a SG Sky Talus 6900/XCurve frame that I bought in 2017, and when packing heavy loads (80#+) it would not stay up on my lower back/butt. Switched to Exo K3 and it stays put. That was my experience, but I don't think it means anything other than the SG Xcurve frame wasn't a fit for me personally.

I also prefer the configuration of the Exo 6400 bag. The SG had too many straps going everywhere, and the way the zippers were, everything would just fall out of the pack if you need to fish for something, particularly on the sides. I think they did a better job with this on their newer packs.
