I did a backpack hunt last September while on carnivore. I was more Keto while on the hunt, but kept carbs extremely low. Performance was great. Did much better than I had the previous two years. Probably helps I was 50lbs lighter.

Keto bricks are great. Most people who i have let try them that are on standard diet think they are terrible. But being on carnivore and never eating anything sweet they are like candy to me.
I think they are a great backpack food. 5 oz and 1K calories. I had about 1-1.5 bricks per day last year. I melted them down and reformed them in about 1/4-1/3rd bars or 250-330ish cals each.
Also - Keto Brick appears to be coming out with a Tallow based brick sometime in the future. Be almost perfect for carnivore.

I also did some Moon Cheese, and Steadfast provisions pemmican. Only carbs I had were 1 lara bar and 1 pecan butter packet per day.

I plan to mirror the same food plan this year for my week long hunt.

I saw this thread a while back, thought I would add what I did on my trips this year. Only out for 3 and 4 day trips, but just took a log of summer sausage and small block of cheese. I was pretty dialed in on my diet going in, double bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg, once a day. When hunting I did end up eating/snacking more often, but still lost weight when I was out. You pay a weight penalty for the summer sausage, but the fat is awesome to avoid any brain fog. worked for me.
