Backpack testing

A few of my core group of backpacking buddies are looking into getting new packs. We have not been able to make it to a trade show so we're going to purchase all three of the packs we are interested in. The exo 5500, stone glacier x curve and a kifaru 26 inch frame. I have spoken with the companies and they said no problem with testing and returning and they would even extend the return period to 6 weeks if needed to test them to satisfaction. I am south of the bay area and work in the half moon bay California area. Will probably take them to a couple of 3d shoots if any other guys want to join in on the testing fun. If anyone is in the area and wants to check them out you can shoot me a message. I am going to order up in about a week or two thanks

What SG and Kifaru bags are you looking into trying?

I'm looking at the sky archer 6200 and I'm not sure yet with the kifaru something similar as most of my hunts are around 6 to 8 day backpack hunts

What a great idea. I run the 2015 Exo3500 and live right in the bay area. I would love to check them out. Three great packs to check out! Did you check out any paradox packs? They don't have the rep that the ones you're checking out have, but I was kind of blown away when my buddy let me try his out.

Which frame stays are you getting for the Kifaru?

If you guys have pretty standard curved back profiles it's hard to beat the composite stays. Strong and lighter than the aluminum. That said, the aluminum can be tweaked to perfection if you have differing back profiles.
