After a ton of research I'm abut to buy an MR Pop-up 38 or 40 (need capability to carry very heavy layers, camera gear, etc.)
I used the 38 for a year. If you have a bunch of gear, it’s perfect. Does not have much organization though. I liked the meat hauling capabilities for public land spots.

I am using the SG Avail now since I bought a SG frame for elk hunting and can put the bag on it.

This year I am using a kifaru Stryker xl. Last year I used a tethrd fas pack. Have had a pop up 38 as well. I really enjoyed the layout of the tethrd but it did not carry weight that great, especially that far from my center of gravity. The MR wasn’t bad but the kifaru fit my needs better with some modularity options.

Update us on how you like the pop-up. I have a MR Metcalf and it's a bit big for what I need and I have been looking at the pop-up but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

5.11 igniter is perfect for me. You’d have to get one second hand or from a third party vendor now, but it fits my platform, sticks, layers, food, water, etc perfectly. In the spring and summer without extra warming layers it’s got room to carry a couple trail cameras for scouting. It’s narrow too which helps me stay mobile sneaking around the woods without clanging into things, even with gear strapped to the outside.
