Hey guys, back in turkey season, I dislocated my foot in an old post hole covered in leaves. Foot just folded forward inside the hole, top of foot hit my shin and got stuck that way for several minutes -- still can't believe I didn't break anything, but basically almost tore completely every single major tendon. I have been trying to rehab it something fierce, but I'm 12 weeks post injury and maybe have 60% of the capability back, still am unsteady on it. I am mentally preparing to go into archery elk season, being in the worst shape ever.
So that being said, I am probably realistically going to need to sit more this season near pinch points and watering holes. Does anyone have recommendations on a lightweight backcountry seat that you could actually shoot out of sitting OR would be easy to silently stand out of? I have several helinox chairs, but they sit you too far back to be able to stand out of easily/quietly.
