Below is my pack list for my upcoming hunt. The total weight at the top is without water, I will probably carry between 100-120ounces of water in but there will be a source nearby so I might only take the 70oz bladder full and fill the other ones. I'm going to be wearing my kuiu attack pants and merino top in but if it gets to hot I'll throw on the shorts and kuiu tshirt. I'm taking an extra pair of socks and underwear so I can let one dry out during the day. The first and last day of food are lighter because I'm going in, in the afternoon and coming out the last day mid day.

This seems quite heavy for a first aid kit. I carry 2oz and it has pretty much all I'd want. Pare it down?

There's really not much to nitpick on this list... pretty good assortment of stuff! I see in that picture a cover on the spotting scope... is that going? I don't take a cover for the spotter when I'll have a good side pocket to store it in (which the exo has). Could save some weight there too.

I agree---pretty good list. I personally do not carry a phone or a GPS and I would carry a fixed blade knife and some sort of multi tool. Kill kit is listed at a pound---maybe could go a wee bit lighter but all in all you would just be splitting hairs. Where ya headed for bears? I used to live in Easton.

Thanks, I am carrying the phone mainly for pictures and I am a big fan of the gps when I'll be off trail the whole time, can't make getting back in the dark or fog way easier. Not a big fan of the gps apps though.

Plan on taking the spotter cover all definetly. I just looked at the actual weight of the pull outs and it's actually only 1.5 for all three so I'll fix that. It makes organizing weight easier and i fill the big one for a nice pillow.

I'm working on getting the first aid kit down in weight and wish I could get the shelter down but just can't spend the money right now to get a lighter one. I've been eyeing a few options for next year though.

Just did 5 miles and a lot of elevation tonight with the full weight in the pack and tweaked my adjustments. I think I'm ready! Thanks for the advice, it anyone else have any thoughts let me know.
