Heck, it's hard enough to find solid B&C 6x6's or better, let alone 5x5's. Even a 300" 5x5 is a big bull.

I'm a sucker for big 5's as well. I saw a really good one this year hunting, his back end just looked so awesome. No where near B&C though. My grandpa picked up a big 5x6 set of sheds a few years back, the 5 side is really impressive, the 3rd is over 29"

I saw one while hunting a few years ago that’s quite possibly in the top three biggest elk I’ve ever seen in my life. He was crafty.
