Aziak vs Tricer

Anyone have experience with the Tricer AD and Aziak Frontcountry for standing. They are the price but the Tricer is about 5oz less than Frontcountry. I like the option to stand at times but I’m 6ft 4 and Slik 634 just does not cut it.

I use the FC for standing, works great. The Tricer may be a tad lighter, but the FC is much more compact when folded up. Been happy with it so far.

Bump to see if anyone else has experience with both of these? Neither will 100% replace my Aziak BC but I want a taller one to compliment it.

The upside down leg of the tricer keeps drawing me in as it seems easier to adjust while sitting

Did you make a decision. I have tricer and aziak and am going to try the front country now. Can't get used to the reverse leg locking and heavier payload of front country

Have not used a Tricer, but Aziak Front Country is a nice piece. Seated in a small folding hunting chair, LS Wild bag mounted on top of the Front Country makes a nice lightweight platform, leg adjustments are easy to reach in this position

I have the Feisol 3441s and Tricer BP. Light and enjoyable to use. No problem with heavy glass load and height .

I’m glad I found this post. I was looking at the Tricer at Scheel’s. It looks like a good tripod but the reverse threads turned me off. I think I’ll be ordering the Aziak Front Country.

The aziak front country is a great tripod with a lot of great little features. It's a good glassing and shooting tripod

Tricer HK
brand new
2.65lbs, no center column, inverted legs, leg lock threads arent backwards.

Obviously not winning any competitions for weight, but it is capable of standing height glassing and shooting
