AZ shooting meet up with LS Wild March 20-22, 2026

I’m in and can probably round up an extra shade canopy and a couple more steel targets if desired.

Bring shade canopy, chair, a shooting mat, gear, etc.

I will have water in cooler, some shade, some snacks.

Looking forward to some fun!

Have a ton of steel ready to go. Will also have cardboard for zero.

Bring your .22 lr, I will have steel set out for that too.

I was out to the spot this morning, took stock of new t-posts needed and got the layout set in my mind. Pretty much the same as last year, but more shade on the firing line.

I will have a solar generator/battery to provide some simple power. If people want to chip in $50, I can bring my Starlink for WiFi. There is 5 G cell service with Verizon for sure. We are close enough to Maricopa that everyone should have service.

I will PM everyone directions tonight. If you need them and don’t get the PM, please reach out.

I will bring stuff for burgers Saturday lunch. You are on your own for other food. My camp stove/grill and utensils will be available for anyone who wants to use it for b-fast or dinner. I will have a couple of tables and some chairs to use

I am answering my PM this evening as well.

I grabbed a used Tikka .223 yesterday for a great deal. I’ll have it there to borrow. Will have extra ammo to shoot out of it.

I will have:
  • Paper targets for zero at 100
  • Steel for pistols, 22 lr out to 200, and rifle steel from 200 to 1000.
  • The 700ish yard target is 30” wide and 22” tall to help get visual on effect of wind. You can hold the edge of the plate and stay on steel.
  • A heavy table to level scopes in rings, check tracking, and such.
  • Tools for scope mounting, torqueing, and barrel swaps.
  • Extra Tikka factory stock, Bravo, XRay, and MDT field stock to try them or put on your rifle for testing.
  • Extra SWFA 10x to test barreled actions and check if your scope/mount might be an issue. I have one with Sport Match rings and another with Picatinny.
  • LS bags and gear to test.
  • Dixie Zippers and sharpening gear. Can do a demo if you like.
  • Will have several shooting tripods to play with.
  • My backpack and other “props”.
  • Bow target, cause I drew an archery elk tag this year.

T-Mobile worked great out there last year.

Man I wish I was in a position to come to this, but its not in the cards this year. Hopefully next year wont be an issue.

A family matter has arisen that makes my attendance impossible.

I'm bummed but for the rest of you, try to contain your No-Eddie glee. :D

I was going to bring my recently purchased Sig ZULU6 HDX PRO 14x52 IS binos in the event anyone wanted a first hand look-see with this technology.

If an attendee is in the NE PHX/N. Scottsdale area (Scottsdale Rd and 101), I'm happy to meet to loan these out to the event, just PM me and we'll figure something out.

Have a great time all and looking forward to the hearing all about it.

I'm flying in from Wisconsin. We are in the middle of a blizzard warning right now. I just saw that it will be quite warm in AZ. I'm looking forward to that.

I'll volunteer to be the greenest guy there. I just got a 223 training rifle and I'm looking to break it in. I think it is sighted in at 100 yards. But I really know nothing about shooting beyond 200 yards or so.

I'll be tent camping Friday and Saturday night...

Glad to have you!

We will have everything to get your rifle doped out to 700 and share the thrill of hearing the steel ring after you see it swing.

Ping me if you need anything at all from me to make it easier and more comfortable.
