Axis 260

Unless you're going to run a ton of weight up front that would be way to stiff of a shaft for your set up. I wouldn't cut them as short as your other shafts either.

Dang it.> I bet that would be right in the sweet spot for my CS turbo.. I could run like 200 grains up front too..

I got on the Pinwheel free for 30 days application last night and it shows 150 grains up front as being weak.

I heard something about them coming out with that shaft, but Black Eagle already has a Rampage .250 spine shaft which is pretty close to the same thing. They can both use HIT inserts and the Rampage 250 weighs 10.7gpi with the Axis at 11.5gpi. The Rampage also comes in .001" straightness. Either one will be a decent arrow for those looking for a .250/.260 spine shaft.

I don't know what your specs are but I find it damn near impossible that your gonna be weak with 150 up front. I would venture to guess though your probably not shooting a 30" arrow and 90 pounds so a weak spine will not be the issue.

I've shot a 210gr Silverflame up front on my 300's at 70lbs and 32 1/2" draw, and gotten them to tune and shoot well out to 60 yards. 150's shouldn't be ANY issue at normal draw lengths even with 300's.

I could only find the Challenger shafts rated at 250 spine. Can you post a link? Also, where are these made?

Well I hope that all of you fellas are correct and thank you very much for the help. Once I get my new strings and cables I will run my mouth on here with my findings. I would much rather not have to change my arrows. Granted, I only have a half dozen currently but I don't mind the extra speed from running a bit on the lighter side.

My personal experience has shown it's nearly impossible to be over spined with a drop away rest so if in question I go heavy on spine. Case in point I have shot .200 spine GT Kinetics with 150 up front from the same bow as .300 spine shafts with 125 grain points and only had to raise the rest a bit to compensate for the smaller diameter shaft. The stiffer spine seemed more forgiving with broad heads, too.
