I didn’t like that either but since you can’t run’em as is I don’t think it matters. I’ve owned about every stock made and yet to find the perfect one. The older McM Hunters Edge were close except for the wait...........

Others don't have this issue and tbh after 4yrs of looking for a tikka stock I want I think im just going to leave it alone.

Cant say that’s a bad decision. I don’t think anyone will argue that the Tikka factory stock NEEDS changed.

I found a couple more but not many. I'm picky and I go with my gut feeling 100% of the time and my gut tells me don't buy.

My single complaint besides having to install pillars and bedding is that on the range the high comb interferes with my muffs or vice-versa... In the field it’s GTG
