Axial motorcycle clothing for bow hunting

Any having success with using motorcycle clothing as windbreaker under top layer for bow hunting whitetail. Normal hunt in lined carhartts and sweatshirts and wool sweater. But the wind takes me out of the tree. Trying to save some money instead of dropping a ton on Sitka or etc.
