Decided to upgrade my reloading bench and ordered the V4 from CE couple days ago. My understanding is you can save 5 load profiles ? If you use a different powder thats not saved , do you have to calibrate the powder every time you use it ? Also for the guys who bought theirs from CE is the scale is already programmed and ready to go after plugging in ? Thanks

You don’t have to, but the scale runs faster and has less over throws when you calibrate each time. I calibrate the scale while I’m seating primers, so it’s ready to roll when I’m finished priming.

Yes and no. You don’t have to but it’ll work better if you do and it doesn’t take very long to do it.

I started checking my auto trickler and scale with another scale. I found a .3-.5 variance. My rifle likes 55.2 gr of H4350. The variance caused the my groups to scatter.

I check and then hand trickle to get consistancy. It takes more time but my groups really came together. I haven't got to the point of weighing each bullet and only shoot like cases yet. After getting my powder and primers to match, I found the other variances were things I could live with.
