Attaching Timberline to Bikini Frame

Okay, I bought at DT1 used, and finally saved up enough and got my bikini frame. However, no instructions came with the frame, and believe it or not - there is no video on Kifaru's site on how to attach it. It is different than the attachment for the Highcamp/Bikini ... and different than the DT1/Duplex Frame. I have watched those videos and the attachment points are different.

I do see potential attachment points ... but am not sure if these are the correct ones for supporting a full load.

Can someone post some step by step pics of the proper attachment? Thanks much!

Aron gave me a call and I think I have it all figured out! Still, if someone wanted to post, it may be of assistance to someone else.

how did you attach the bottom of the bag to the frame or is it just attached to the belt? also having a hard time stopping the shifting of the top of the bag when a load is in the bag. is there something besides the load lifters that prevent this?

Okay ... first, the top horizontal compression strap. Take that out of the ladderlock that it is looped through on the pack and attach an open-ended quick release buckle. I happened to have some around the house. You can get some from Kifaru if you don't have any. Now attach that to the top "tab" on the bikini frame ... the one directly under the hypalon sleeve.

On the bottom compression strap, it is already attached to an open-ended quick release buckle. Take that buckle off the pack and attach it to the "tab" immediately above the hip belt.



On the bottom, take the three bar slider and put it through the rectangular plastic loop at the bottom of the frame. When all cinched down, the pack is very secure.
