I'm sure this has been asked before, but I cannot find a video or post on attaching the mtnwarrior to a new tactical frame. I just received my frame from UPS and am trying to figure out how to get my bag on. This is my first Kifaru system so I'm completely new to it. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Mike

Thank you!! I will probably have to watch it about 5 times because I have a tendency to "think" I know what I am doing and stop paying attention to directions. Then I hear something that I need to know and have to rewind and listen to it over and over.

So I think I have the bag on correctly. It only has two attachment points, the hypalon sleeve and the three bar sliders on the bottom. plus the load stablizers attaching to the belt. Is there any other attachment points or is it just the compression straps left?

In with the new...kifaru tac warrior 26" tac frame with comp stays, guide lid, and grab it. What a difference in feel and quality!

It is a foliage tac warrior I got from a member on here. It definitely is a darker green rather than grey of the foliage lid and grab it

mlawrence, it looks like you have the female buckles for the compression straps all attached to the bag. I think you might want to attach at least one set direct to the frame? Thats how I set-up my AG1/Duplex. Hard to tell from pic, but looks like most of pack is drooping away from frame.

I'll have to check it out once I get home, but the bag is basically empty in this pic, maybe that's why it looks like it's sagging? Thanks for the heads up though

I agree with what reallylivin said. Those two buckles on the side of the bag need the split female buckle attached to a loop on the frame.

Took a look at the bag last night...all compression strap female buckles are on the frame not the bag itself. The bag is attached to the top via the hypalon sleeve, bottom via the 3 bar sliders, and middle with the compression straps...is there something I've missed? It's my first kifaru so I'm not 100% sure

You have it right. I didn't like how baggy it was, so I put ladder locks on the frame instead of the buckles. It sucks up about 1.5" of extra slop. I carry a pc of webbing that I can drop across anywhere on the frame I want for an extra compression strap. I carry the buckles in the bag in case I want to put those on for a heavy pack out. I have the grab-it and a lid permanently attached. I also carry (2) 3/8" compression straps to tie heads and ?? on. In day mode I can just choke one of these around the bottom where it is the "baggiest". It snugs everything up, and it also pushes all my gear to the top of the bag for easier access.
