Last year I used the new Nomad pack with a Bikini frame. Loved the pack but didn't like the way the Bikini frame fit on me. This year I have purchased a Duplex frame and have attached a Timberline 2 to it. My question is, with my Nomad on the Bikini frame the Grab it would attach to the bottom of the frame through the common loops. This seemed like a very strong attachment point especially when hauling a quarter. Now with the Timberline attached to the Duplex frame the only area to attach the Grab It is to the pack?? The common loops on the frame are used to secure the pack. Is this by design or am I missing something??
Any help would be appreciated. I apologize in advance if this have been covered previously in another thread.

I have a duplex and timberline and just attach mine to the pack.

However, the frame has 6 attachment points for the bag - 2 on top, 2 in the middle and 2 on the bottom. I would imagine you could undue the bottom 2 holding the bag and use it for the grab it without any terrible consequences but I attach mine to the bottom of the pack without any worries - that's why we bought a kifaru (rhino tough).
