Anyone have a recommendation on a scope cover, besides the flimsy one provided?

I actually got a camo wrap and wrapped it around the scope where I don't need anything to move. If you want more, you could take a nice old dress sock and put that puppy around it.

Good call, wasnt thinking about wrapping it like this. Might be the only option with no actual cases for sale.

Agreed. I couldn’t find anything for a cover either so I just figured the wrap would be a good fit. It’s been pretty nice and you can make it as thin or thick as you want, plus you can make it a specific color or camo pattern.

Is this for the Gen2 ? I was pretty happy with the zip case that came with the Gen1

Mine is a gen 1. I was looking for one of those neoprene covers and that wasn’t available.

I don’t mind that carry zip case but wanted something tighter

Same here. Mine is a gen 1 but wanted a neoprene with a little more cushion and a better fit.

I've been contemplating wrapping mine with hockey tape, just to give it a little protection from dings. Also leaves no residue if you remove it.

I have an old wool sock I cut on toe and wrapped it with. Works good as I can cover the front/rear covers with the sock to ensure they are secure.

That’s an interesting one. I didn’t think about that but I figured they would only give those out with the boxed new sets and wouldn’t even sell them separately.

I don't think the neoprene cover fits that well anyway. I cut mine apart so that it actually sits where it's supposed to and not bunch up or cover the focus etc. I'd look for an aftermarket if I was trying to buy a cover.

I did not. Ended up still using the camo wrapping on it and it’s worked out great.
