Spotting scope is a Gen 1 Athlon Ares 15-45X65. $350 shipped, buyer pays any fees.

Have used it for several years and still one of the most compact scopes out there especially for the price. Punches well about its weight and price class. I have just upgraded my glass and don’t use it anymore.

It is used and has scuffs here and there, but is in good shape. Nothing that interferes with the image. Comes with box and what should be everything that came with it, including the case.

I actually stuck with Athlon. I just went to the bigger Athlon Cronus.

I have really liked this spotting scope. It compares very well to a gen 1 Vortex Razor, and is better than both the gen 1 and gen 2 Viper. There is a Gen 2 version of this scope out there for a little more money, but I’ve read that they didn’t change much. The Athlon Ares is the best scope you will find under $500 and compares well with most $1000 scopes.
