In reference to purposed definition change to what a firearm receiver is.
Here is a link to read and comment.

I never support any additional rules. Because there are already rules preventing the commitment of crimes.
But comment as you see fit. I just want people to be aware and make there voices heard as they see fit.

That's a lot of pages to read through. Are the cliffs notes available online somewhere?

they are also changing the whole brace/stock definition - from what i have read and heard, "pistol" ARs with braces will now require a tax and need to be registered? I believe beginning August 2022

Well its what they said they are planning on doing in June. But its not officially changed yet. Just the recommended change they are suggesting.

Also 80% lowers they want you to have to get them serialized then have a background check done on yourself.
Total crock of shit.

what if you already own a pistol AR and brace? do they expect a person turn themselves in to register and pay a BS tax?

I haven't read all the deets but yes.
You'll have 45 days to surrender it for destruction or to a licensed individual aka an sot to be serialized and apply for a stamp.

My understanding of the boating accident excuse is if they some how get probable cause and find things you lied about is that opens the door for udder obliteration of your life. You go into court as a known liar.

You'd have to search around for more educated individuals then me, but this is the snippet of what I gathered when I made the OP

I for the life of me can't figure out how they can make anything retro active on stuff thats already been sold. But they're saying we knew we were skirting the law and should of known better.

It's absolutely unjust imo but idk the real solution if they aren't willing to hear what we voiced last yr.

Idk if your disabled enough to need the brace and also broke enough you can't afford the stamp not sure.
Maybe your allowed to write it off on your taxes???

No no they don't do anything except make/change add policy when they are an inforcement agency. Not law makers.

No I am not disabled at all other than seasonal allergies. I waas reading some YT comments and several ppl mentioned disabled people and braces. but i do not feel the need to pay a made up tax. Soon you will need a stamp for red dots.
