I had a 7-35 that went in for repair that had the same debris. It happens from time to time. Quick turn around and no debris now.

I also had some debris on a brand new Bushnell Elite Tactical a couple of years ago. They had an optical company in-country they contracted; it went from me to retailer to repairer and back in about a week.

Had a swaro spotter that went in for this.

I’m not saying do it, but I had a vortex do that after a repair like 8 years ago. They told me to hit it with a phone book and knock the debris off. There is grease in the tube that it will stick to.

Thought this was a joke given the drop test results for Vortex. Impact was the last thing I expected to fix anything on a Vortex scope.
