At home education

I took my 6 & 9 daughters Geocaching today, helping learn plant ID, game sign, compass and GPS use. Plus we might find a shed.

Tomorrow we are planning to go further in to find another one and make hot chocolate!

Have a big ass bonfire...my boys love it... you know, one that can be seen from the space station

whatever you do just take advantage of the opportunity to hang out with them as much as you can. Don't just tell them how much you love them, SHOW THEM! Years from now everyone will be talking about their memories from this situation & ask yourself...."what will my kids say?"

and remember how kids spell love... T-I-M-E

My boys are 7 and 9, I'm going to give them a bag of pot and some zig zags and teach them how to roll your own...get some munchies and listen to loud rock n roll.

For those that have students at home and looking to challenge their design skills or promote their architectural dreams, download Sketchup on your computer - a free program. Pretty cool stuff!

Awesome stuff everyone is doing. We made out attempt at social distancing today but the big hairy fella broke the 6 ft separation rule. 20200318_133034.jpg

Not gonna lie. Kind of enjoying the time with my 15 y/o son. He usually comes home
from school exhausted and in a foul mood. Night and Day difference.
Loving this slower pace of life, esp. as I work out of my house. I didnt realize how
stressful school is on EVERYBODY in the house.
We been doing some gardening, grilling out, light construction/home improvements.
Talkin about trucks and women. And of course there is still homework from school.

Skinned a coyote with my 6 year old daughter today
Using this as a nice reset button for the kids
We will reload a little tomorrow and fix a few things around the house. Kids are homeschooled anyways but it’s nice for me to more apart of what they are doing since I am working from home

Been homeschooling this whole year. My sister has to remind me they don’t turn geography and history in kindergarten.

On another note if you see me talking to myself dont worry it's just a parent/teacher conference...

Looks like our kids are probably out for the year. The assignments for them have been rolling in from each teacher in massive quantities. It’s taking us 6-8 hours a day just to keep up

Last week, I had my kids and my nieces help put up a section of fence. They took turns with the spacer, using the level to check plumb, sighting the top and screwing pickets. It took three times longer, but they loved it and want to do more projects.

My oldest niece

My kids helped get our garden started. They planted purple potatoes and peas. Yesterday, they spread straw to protect the beds from the cold front coming in today.

Teaching my kid motocross...and first aid on me this past Saturday. Was shooting a lot for "gym class" until this latest broken wrist(s).
