One thought here is that the pattern and the clothes themselves are two different discussions. I hate that ASAT in-house stuff isn't more consistent. I've handled a lot of it and tried to make it work, but it's sizing is inconsistent, fit is odd, etc... I wish one of 'big guys' who can make clothes that fit well and where you don't need to order a medium t shirt and 2xl jacket and pants 6 inches different than your everyday jeans to get the a set with same fit would start running it again. I have to agree though - that leafy suit is absolute gold. Everyone needs one of those - even here in our southeastern forrest I've had stuff walk right up and never see me.

Are these the clothes they have come out with in the last 4 or so years? They look pretty good online but I have never come accross them in a store and their descriptions are so vague I haven’t bought anything over fear it’s not what I want and am going to have to return it.

I haven't handled that new hoody or pants in person, But I don't think that's going chnage the game for them - they still make all their stuff in odd size ranges and inconsistently. Even that new hoody has the chest zipper right where the string would travel if you shoot a bow - just not top quality stuff IMO - I'm sure some folks have them and love them and if you could try everything on in person before buying it's prob different, for me with an athletic build and 6'1" I just couldn't seem to get things to fit worth a darn and gave up even though I LOVE the pattern. I usually just end up rocking the ASAT leafy the whole turkey season and on the ground for whitetails and find myself just layering earth tone solids underneath from my regular closet.

ASAT will never be outdated and it likely does the best job at breaking up your outline compared to any other camo out there, although they all work fine. Just don't wear blue or yellow and limit movement and nothing else will matter, other than wind of course.

Also some shades of grey have same affect as blue.
