Getting back into archery hunting elk this year. I have a Hoyt AXIUS but looking for some good arrows to use 67.5 DW and 27.5 DL. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I like my easton axis 5mm 340's. I use the standard insert (16 grains), a 1.5" aluminum footer (12 grains), and 125 grain broadhead. My arrows are 27" carbon to carbon. Puts me right around 460 grains with 12-13% FOC. I shoot 67lbs with a 28.5 inch draw.

Another vote for Gold Tip Hunter XT.

Also, invest the $10 and get a year's subscription to Archer's Advantage online software. Super useful for calculating spine weight, and tweaking your specific setups for the best performance.

You can print custom sight tapes as well, if you're using a slider.

Where do you get your footers they seem to make the arrows stronger.

Anybody using Easton FMJs? That's what i was using when I hung up my bow 3 years ago. Getting it back out this year and just ordered a dozen of them. I've had success with them in years past.

Easton axis 5mm are hard to beat. Iron will makes a nice footer/collar that works well with the HIT insert. You can make your own footer with a old aluminum arrow if you want to DIY

Pick your broad head first. What weight do you want?

I’ve had good success with Black Eagle Rampage and their stainless inserts.
