Arrowhead Encore Starting loads

Does anyone have the load information for their 275 bullet and IMR 4198 for the Encore Barrel?

I would start around 57 grains and work up to 62 grains. Some people will go as high as 65 grain max, but I wouldn't exceed 62 or 63 grains myself. I'm sure you know this, but always have a witness mark on your ramrod. Good luck and be safe.

Jeff Hankins Recommends a max of 65 grains of 4198 or VV120 by weight with a 275 grain bullet in His Scout Smokeless conversions, My brother has an arrowhead barrel conversion for a Savage 110 rifle and they Recommend 65 grains Max as well. From what I have researched I wouldn't go above 65 grains. Timbers is probably right to stay a few grains below that as well.

Really depends on the barrel. I’d ask Arrowhead what max pressure they recommend for your barrel.
