Arrow prep

i don't like wraps because you have to completely refletch the arrow even if only one vane is damaged. i much prefer replacing a singular vane. i don't use fusion vanes, but did use fmj for a while. acetone on shaft with a rag 'til it squeeks and on the vane foot, then quantum xt (3 drops spread out). pressure and 30 seconds wait. my current vane (flex fletch sk 200) was a super pain to get on, then i got turned on to zing vane primer.

As far as removing wraps, I've had some be a pain to come off just because of the glue they left behind..........Best I've found is SOLID WHITE wraps from Onestringer...You don't have to cut them, put them in boiling water or anything else, just peel them off and they come off clean. I've stopped using colored wraps or wraps with logos on them and just use the solid white ones from Onestringer these days because of that.
