Hello Folks,

Does anyone have a goto or a good past experience with any processors close to Unit 2 in Maine?

The state provided these choices to consider:





We will be in Portage Lake. I crossed out names I thought were too far away but if it was worth the trip I'd ride out of my way.


Also, has anyone ever heard of a processor only accepting quarters with the hide on? That came up in a webinar I attended.

We used Rooneys In Mapleton in 2019 and did a fantastic job. We are booked with him again this year if we are lucky enough. I've heard good things about Oxbow Lodge. Joe Chasse I've head is great, but For Fairfield is a pretty good haul from Portage.
