Hello,
I just wanted to take a minute and say how awesome Aron is over at kifaru. Called him a little over a month ago and asked him about some packs and wanting to get an EMR II originally and after talking to him he steered me towards the DT1 which saved me about $100 and stated I could use those savings for pockets and accessories. He said if he could have only one bag that the DT1 would be his choice.
We then shot the shit about hunting packs and his hunts for about 25-30 minutes and didn't just try to rush off the phone and treated me as if we had met before. Then about a week later after he got back from the first part of his Governors Goat hunt he called me as a follow up (which I didn't ask him or call him first) and ask me if I had ordered the pack and if I had any questions about accessories and then again talked to me for about 10 minutes with stuff. I have never had a company or any specific person who works for a company follow up just to make sure everything went alright.
I will be a Kifaru customer for life and already have some other bags I wanna buy and will continue to support them.
So I got the DT1 yesterday just shy of a month from ordering it and it is seriously the most high quality pack I've ever got my hands on. I absolutely love the pack and the quality of it. Definitely so stoked to be hauling out my deer come the end of November for my deer hunt.
I loaded up about 50 pounds in the pack and was walking around in the house with it and felt like nothing. The comfort is on an entirely different level compared to the eberlestock M5 and the Kuiu icon pro 7200. I sold both of those packs to buy my DT1 and I'm so glad that I did.
If you have any doubts about the chunk of change you're gonna drop on a Kifaru throw them out the window and just bit the bullet and get one for yourself and you'll see that this pack will change your life when it comes to heavier loads. I haven't even got it in the field and I know it's going to perform great. Yes it's an investment but well worth it and especially because it's American made with American products.
Thank you,
Tj Perez
