Aron, one of the things that I like about Rokslide is to see and hear what others use for gear. I'm sure I'm a lot like others on here and we have a problem. Yes, I am a gear whore. I freely admit it and I know there are others out there.
That being said, what I'd like to hear from you is what gear you have used that DOES NOT work and why. I know that some gear reviewers don't really say it like it is but man, if you review gear, one should be totally frank. For instance, I've had two sets of stoney point click on bipods and they were crap. The rubber split and they don't support a rifle at all.
And of course, I'd like to hear how your fall went and photos!

I've tried searching because I'm sure you have covered it but I can't find anything. What you carry in your possibles pouch and how it has evolved.

I requested to see this one too. I've seen him mention some of the items in it during other videos., but never seen a "full load" out of the entire contents. He's holding out on us....its like the movie space jam when bugs drinks the "Michaels Secret stuff" to get energized. Aron has some "Arons Secret Stuff"!! LOL

I would like to learn more about your process on planning a hunt, specifically in new territory as it would be most relatable to me as someone from the midwest that doesn't have the ability to scout prior to the start of the hunt. Mainly how you decide on an area, logistics, gear choices, back up plan etc.

Thanks for taking the time to do this and share your knowledge with the rest of us!

I'd like to see more information on pack organization, and gear storage in the off-season. As mentioned before, information on meat hauling and care would be good as well.

First thing that comes to mind is Mark is one lucky dude ! First he sticks a fat cow and then Aron just happens along and carries like 3/4 of the meat out !

Off-season training, the what, how and why. We all do our own thing to stay in shape but I would like to know how your training has evolved, most of us older folk started off with bodybuilding routines which then turned into cardio focused routines back to lifting and then a combination etc.. Cross-fit is big now but I have never tried it. Also what's your basic nutrition and supplement regime look like.

I second this, I grew up in the gym lifting, cardio and especially mountain cardio has always been an after thought. I know you were into lifting heavy and made a change. That transformation would be a good read. Nutrition is always a good thing as well.

Since you went Mountain House-free, I'd like to see more about your dehydrated food preparation, including recipes and tools, and what works and doesn't work. I'm tired of the sodium blast from MH.

I vote for this, too.

Being a flatlander from wisconsin it is hard to find good knowledge regarding glassing and optics. specifically things such as: should my next spotting scope be a 65mm or a 85mm? I am also interested in your photography set up. I started playing around with DSLR's this last year and know you would have some great information regarding lens recommendations and photography equipment recommendations for backpack hunters.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

It's already been mentioned but I would like to know your preparations for a "blind" elk hunt. It is impossible for most of us in the east to scout. Specifically how many days in advance do you arrive. Do you charge right in to the best looking area or approach with caution and glass. I realize the scenarios are limitless but many of us only make it out every few years. I'm not talking trophy hunting just a realistic quality public ground experience. A generic formula for success in the dark DIY style out west would be great.

How about something your really interested in, like photography ;)

Let's hear about your evolution as a photographer, from the days of a throw away camera to where your going next. What were the benchmark points along the way, both gear and skill, that that resulted in better pics.
