Question for you guys.....

I'm going to start doing some new videos and articles on Aron's corner and was curious what info you'd like me to discuss.

Let me know and I'll get a list going.

Thanks!

Maybe your ideal elk set up with the bow? And your ideal foc, arrows, broadheads.4 blade vs 3 blade vs 2 blade vs mech. Penetration. Do you like fall away, whisker biscuit? 80 pound bow? 70 pound bow? Maybe you did this already, if so ignore my post. Thanks

Pack out strategies and meat care. Seems you did quite a bit of both this past season. I'm interested in real life examples and where you had to adapt / move away from the standard plan.

+2 for real world meat care. On so many of the TV hunting shows they leave a lot of elk overnight and I got to think they are loosing a lot of meat to spoilage.

God Bless.

I joined the forum to learn about setting up an out West trip (and to help improve my backpack hunting at home) . Any advice on setting up the logistics and on line scouting of a long distance hunt would be great.

Thanks

At least every 6 months, i would like a quick refresher with likes and dislikes on your camera and video setups. If and when i want to upgrade, it will be a great resource.

An article on what all it takes to be a poser like you :) and how you deal with haters. An in depth article on how to judge bears and what qualifies as an " Aron " bear. 😃

I think a lot more people would benefit from the mental side than will admit. I have seen quite a few guys give up, shut down and basically lose their shit when they haven't seen their "target" animal in a few days.

The two questions I posted were supposed to be a little humorous but I reality they are serious. Many here will not know what Aron is all about and how much time he has in the field. So a resume article is probably in order and I really don't have a clue as to judging bears.

This^^^

Throw in some crappy weather on top of hard hunting, and she can get a bit testy at times.

The mental game is a big part of back country hunting. Especially backpack and rough areas.
Also picking an area to camp out and camp set up could be a good topic. See a lot of guys out there that seem to be clueless in that department.

Meat and trophy care is a big one for most guys.... For the little bit of taxi work I do I see a ton of guys who have zero clue on trophy care and ruin capes by not dealing with them properly.

Aaron I'd love a navigation lesson or two that and glassing techniques. How you do it.
